Jason Torrente D.O., Medical Director.
Dr. Torrente is Board Certified in Family Practice and has obtained a Certificate of Added Qualification in Primary Care Sports Medicine. Dr. Torrente is a U.S. Navy veteran who served as a General Medical Officer for 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines and 1st Tanks out of Twentynine Palms, California and was deployed to the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After completing his medical training in family medicine and sports medicine, he was in private practice focusing on non-surgical orthopedics. During that time, he served as the team physician for several local high schools, served as a preceptor to medical students, interns and residents and performed graduate medical education speaking engagements to hospital staff. After private practice, Dr. Torrente brought his experience to an urgent care setting where he used his skills to care for the local community of Willingboro, NJ. Overall, Dr. Torrente brings over 20 years of worldwide experience, both clinically and in leadership roles, and will use his wealth of experience to support his new role as medical director for the First Responder Partnership Health Center.
